Project Trainee

Purpose

The trainee engineer will be attending meetings, conducting desktop and field research, performing all practical and administrative duties assigned by the supervisor, traveling to other sites when required, assisting on projects, offering suggestions for improvement, and writing up reports. Trainee Engineer is also required to demonstrate thorough understanding of Combined Cycle Power Plant and it Operation and Maintenance.

Education

BE Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic)

Experience

Fresh - 6 months 

Knowledge

• Understanding of the CCPP and all of its major equipment - Plant familiarization/detailed understanding of plant operations and progress
• Complete understanding of all safety protocols applicable at site - Work Permit System and all HSEQ SOPs
• To be fully capable of attempting and clearing the CP examination
• Understanding of P&IDs, SLDs of processes/equipment along with their maintenance
• Understanding of control diagrams, SAP, energy conservation and industrial safety
• Understanding of plant instruments, plant efficiency and management system
• Attend relevant trainings and deliver the assigned trainings to O&M team
• To gain relevant experience and knowledge to work safely and add value to the organization
• Play a part towards an inclusive workplace that fosters the development of others, facilitates cooperation and teamwork, and supports constructive resolution of conflicts
• Use creativity and apply innovative solutions to facilitate the team.
