• KE Returnship Program

    The KE Returnship Program aims to offer project based contractual opportunities to women professionals who have been on a career break or are unable to work full time due to personal commitments. Women who want to return to work represent a motivated talent pool that can be brought up to speed with the right training and support. Through this Program, K-Electric is offering contractual positions to women with an option of flexible working hours. Women who have a prior work experience of a minimum one year are given the opportunity to work on interesting Projects (based on their education and experience) and resume their careers through coaching, mentoring, personal development, career revitalization and networking.

    Returnship Program highlights the inclusive approach of K-Electric through which we want to a normalize taking a career break for any number of reasons and then encourage them to join back the workforce

  • Emerging Talent Program (ETP)

    The Emerging Talent Program (ETP) at K-Electric is a 12-month Program for Trainees, designed to attract and retain high potential resources from various well-reputed universities. The philosophy is to develop talent by an early introduction to the KE way of working, strengthen the talent pipeline for future leadership roles and enhance quality of workforce through development & monitoring of skills and competencies.

    The Emerging Talent Program helps enhance the brand name of K-Electric, and provides a service to undergraduates/graduates to build on their professional skills. The Program is aimed to provide trainees with an understanding of KE’s business operations, enhance their functional and managerial skills, and develop their leadership competencies for future growth.

  • Finance Trainee Program (FTP)

    The Finance Trainee Program at K-Electric is designed to cater to students of different financial institutions including ICAP, CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW, to gain practical knowledge of industry in their pertinent fields. The philosophy is to develop future talent for multiple managerial roles and groom them in line with the need and requirement of business. This will in turn build a holistic understanding of business operations amongst the Trainees and nurture fresh talent to be equipped with practical exposure.

    The Finance Trainee Program has a duration of 3 – 3.5 years, varying based on the level of education or certification.

  • Aspiring Talent Program (ATP)

    The Aspiring Talent Program at K-Electric is an Internship Program designed to provide students from various well-reputed local and foreign universities with real world professional experience in their relevant field. The philosophy is to develop a young and diverse pool of highly motivated and potential future job applicants, who will get an opportunity to learn from experienced professionals working to cultivate them as the next generation of leaders.

    The Aspiring Talent Program helps enhance the image of KE, and provides a service to students to build on their professional skills. The interns will be able to impart the latest theoretical and technical knowledge and apply it through practical work assignments, while getting a thorough understanding of K-Electric.

    The Internship duration is mainly for 4 – 6 weeks, in either summer or winter.

Our Management Trainees get the opportunity to work closely with senior management on real business projects across different functions ranging from Generation, Transmission, Distribution, and Supply Chain to Corporate.

    Apprenticeship Program at K-Electric is a 2 years’ structured program for DAEs (Diploma of Associate Engineer) of the following disciplines from approved institutions;

    • Electronics
    • Mechanical

    Our Apprenticeship Program focuses on developing technical skills of pupils in the areas of Generation, Transmission & Distribution by blending theory with practical exposure.

KE Returnship program is an excellent initiative to provide a platform for women to relaunch their careers that were left midway. A platform like this not only recognizes and normalizes the need for women to take a step back in life if necessary, but also understands that this shouldn’t become a permanent handicap or impediment to her holistic growth and success in life. The ethos behind this initiative shows the forward looking and inclusive approach of the organization, where they feel more women should be empowered and encouraged to join the workforce. I was inducted as a project specialist, with very clear goals and objectives.  Being responsible for a project from day 1 gives you complete ownership of the project from end to end. It also helps you define your parameters and scope of work without any ambiguities. The wisdom of this program is such that it takes into account the previous work history of the candidate and designs the project which is relevant and consistent with your cumulative knowledge and experience, hence not making you start a fresh unlike in an MTO program or an internship program.
