Purpose
The position is responsible for conducting site surveys and validate desktop proposals. The position provides on-ground support to line for preparation of pragmatic and effective proposals
Education & Experience
Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE), 2-3 yrs of relevant experience.
Area of Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections of streetlights , poles , fixtures and associated electrical infrastructure of PMTs & feeders.
- Conduct through survey accurately with exceptional attention to detail and offers actionable insights ,highly dependable and inspires others with excellent professionalism.
- Recommend actions for repair, replacements, or upgrades based on survey findings.
- Ensure all inspections are conducted in compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and regulations.
- Report any potential hazards or urgent safety concerns immediately.
- Participate in joint surveys with other department and agencies.
Knowledge
- Awareness of distribution network and equipment.
- Understanding of relevant SOPs, guidelines, and quality standards.
- Knowledge of understanding HT/LT network SLD.
Skills
- Ability to accurate identify and document faults or discrepancies.
- Evaluate survey findings to provide actionable recommendations.
- Strong verbal and written skills for preparing reports and collaborating with teams.
- Address on site challenges effectively and propose solutions.
