Purpose
The position is responsible for conducting site surveys and validate desktop proposals. The position provides on-ground support to line for preparation of pragmatic and effective proposals
Education & Experience
Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE), 2-3 yrs of relevant experience.
Area of Responsibilities
Site Survey (100%)
• Conduct site surveys for validation of desktop-based proposals of design optimization and n-1 regime
• Suggest changes/modifications in proposal based on site situation
• Identify optimum locations for VCBs, RMUs, PFIP and LBS based on site requirements and desktop proposals
• Prepare BOM for design optimization and n-1 regime proposals
• Prepare BOM for capacity and demand management proposals based on site surveys
• Submit proposal including final scheme design and BOM
Knowledge
- Distribution network know how
- GIS
- Basic Electrical network equipment and parameters
