Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Training Manager to lead and elevate our training initiatives for Customer Experience Management. The ideal candidate will be a skilled strategist with a keen eye for detail and passion for skill development. This role will involve designing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive training programs that enhance employee performance and contribute to overall organizational success. A strong proficiency in utilizing Canva to create engaging and visually appealing training materials is essential.

Required Education & Experience:

Masters / Bachelors of Business Administration with 5 years of relevant experience.

Areas of Responsibility:

Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy that aligns with the organization's strategic goals.
Identify key training priorities and develop a roadmap to address them.
Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure training initiatives are aligned with business objectives.
 

Training Needs Analysis (TNA):
Conduct thorough TNAs to identify skills gaps, knowledge deficiencies, and performance improvement areas.
Utilize various methods, such as surveys, interviews, and performance data to collect relevant information.
Analyze TNA data to prioritize training needs and develop targeted training solutions.
 

Program Development and Delivery:
Design and develop engaging and effective training programs, leveraging Canva to create visually appealing and interactive training materials.
Select appropriate training methodologies, including instructor-led training, e-learning, and blended learning approaches.
Deliver high-quality training sessions, ensuring active participant engagement and knowledge retention.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive training library and knowledge base.
 

Budget Management:
Develop and manage the annual training budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
Monitor training expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Secure necessary approvals and funding for training initiatives.
 

Training Effectiveness Measurement:
Implement a robust system to measure training effectiveness, using the Kirkpatrick Model or similar frameworks.
Level 1: Reaction: Measure participant satisfaction and engagement through surveys and feedback mechanisms.
Level 2: Learning: Assess knowledge and skill acquisition through pre- and post-training assessments, quizzes, or simulations.
Level 3: Behavior: Evaluate changes in on-the-job behavior through performance reviews, observations, or self-assessments.
Level 4: Results: Measure the impact of training on organizational performance metrics, such as increased productivity, improved customer satisfaction, or reduced errors.

Employee Competency Framework:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive employee competency framework that outlines the essential skills, knowledge, and behaviors required for each role.
Align training programs with the competency framework to ensure they address specific development needs.
Use the competency framework to identify high-potential employees and tailor development plans to their career aspirations.

 

Required Skills:

Canva Expertise: Proficient in using Canva to create visually appealing and interactive training materials, including presentations, infographics, and e-learning modules.
Stay updated on the latest Canva features and best practices to enhance training materials.
Develop engaging and effective training content that aligns with the organization's branding and messaging.
Content Development: Develop high-quality training content that is clear, concise, and easy to understand. Tailor content to the specific needs and learning styles of the target audience.
Incorporate a variety of learning activities, such as case studies, simulations, and role-playing exercises.
PowerPoint expertise: Create professional and visually appealing PowerPoint presentations to enhance training delivery.
Use effective slide design principles to improve information retention and engagement.
Incorporate multimedia elements, such as videos, images, and animations, to enhance presentations.
