Professional Accountant / MBA with minimum 4 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Area of Responsibilities
1 Supply Chain Finance
Business Partnering:
- Collaborate closely with user department to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Build strong relationships with other departments to ensure effective financial management.
S&OP Transaction Review and Approval:
- Review and approve S&OP transactions related to procure-to-pay processes, including demand planning, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and inventory management for Distribution CAPEX projects.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial controls.
- Identify and address any discrepancies or issues related to S&OP transactions.
- Advising user to rationalize demand for material procurement in line with consumption pattern, execution capabilities, existing stock position and organization’s projects target, by settling within budget limits.
- Reviewing the commercial and legal terms of the agreements distribution services on CAPEX projects executed by the external service providers (PQCs)
- Providing recommendations to S&OP stakeholders for process improvements, such as to carve out the inefficiencies in procurement cycle, which would result in reduced lead time and better availability of material for execution of organization’s plan.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and reports for the Supply Chain function.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including cost analysis, and variance analysis etc.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Develop and manage the Distribution BU procurement and cash flow budget, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Prepare accurate forecasts and projections for the procurement of materials and services of Distribution Projects.
- Monitor budget performance and identify areas for investment optimization.
Cash Flow Reports:
- Monitor cashflows related to procurement of materials and services
- Collaborate with Treasury for cash flow planning and forecasting
Monitoring inventory levels:
- Analyze inventory levels and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Support the implementation of inventory management systems and controls.
Cost Control and Reduction:
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives within the supply chain process.
- Advice the Procurement team to negotiate favorable terms with suppliers to reduce costs.
- Analyze supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
Financial Risk Management:
- Assess and mitigate financial risks within the Supply Chain processes and decisions.
- Implement controls and procedures to safeguard assets and minimize losses.
