Purpose:

This position involves the diligent execution of risk governance practices that contribute to enhancing the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of risk governance and strategy within the company.

The position involves execution of duties which play an integral role in the long term success of entity wide risk management efforts, through risk integration, ensuring quality of reporting for the ERMC and BAC, performing diligent follow-ups on established action items, vigilant monitoring of strategic initiatives for risk maturity, providing essential assistance to the Senior Lead – Risk Strategy and Governance in various reporting activities, while cultivating in-depth knowledge of the company's business model, risk registers, top risks, and emerging risks.

These responsibilities are carried out with the objective to enhance risk management capabilities, fostering informed decision making ultimately contributing for the long-term sustainability of the organization within the limits of KE values, organization policies and SOPs, guidelines from supervisor and departmental guidelines and objectives.

Education and Experience:

ACCA / MBA with relevant experience in a reputed organization with at least 5 years’ experience in managerial role.

Areas of Responsibilities:

Enterprise Risk Profile Reporting:

-Prepare comprehensive presentation packs for reporting to the Enterprise Risk Management Committee (ERMC) and the Board of Audit Committee (BAC) based on the information and findings generated through ERM processes.
-Independently follow up on action items identified by ERMC and BAC, ensuring that assigned tasks and strategies are progressing as planned.
-Continuously monitor and track the implementation and effectiveness of planned mitigating strategies as communicated to ERMC and BAC, providing regular updates on progress and potential issues.
-Ensure the accuracy and completeness of information presented to ERMC and BAC, conducting quality checks on data and reports.
-Perform a first-level review of information received from respective Risk Business Partner (RBP) Teams, analyze the data, and discuss findings with respective RBPs, highlighting the need for additional data (if required), key insights and potential areas of concern.

Risk Integration & Safeguarding the Integrity of Risk Registers:
-Collaborating with inter-departmental verticals to assess and identify potential risks that could impact the organization as a whole.
-Identifying cross functional bottlenecks and risks for company-wide risks integration eliminating duplication.
-Ensuring the integrity of risk registers and data reported to BAC, ensuring accurate reporting.
-Conducting routine reviews of the risk register to identify and rectify discrepancies or inaccuracies in the reported data, ensuring its reliability.
-Implementing a continuous improvement cycle for risk register maintenance, where feedback and lessons learned are used to refine the process.

ERM Framework Governance and Cross Functional Coordination:
-Act as the central coordinator for Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Roadmap journey and ERM initiatives, facilitating communication between Risk Business Partners and executive leadership. 
-Track progress against key milestones, manage dependencies across departments, and report on Roadmap completion rates to ensure the organization progresses toward the target risk maturity state.
-Revision of ERM Framework, Policy and SOPs.
-Creating both ad-hoc and routine reports, such as Monthly Management Reports and Risk Extracts in the Annual Report.
-Collaborating with both internal and external auditors to address their queries and fulfill information requests.
-Sourcing and tracking of Risk Intelligence Information.
