Purpose:
The position will be responsible to work on the development works for the future base load - thermal, hydel power, and RE projects. Its main responsibility will be to gauge their applicability for KE network, assisting organization to reach its long-term objective of becoming a low cost and reliable electricity producer
Responsibilities: Below are the key responsibilities along with other
• Assist in working with all stakeholders including but not limited to government authorities, concession providers, regulators, consultants, contractors, OEM's, lenders to assist KE secure cheaper and reliable power generation sources, benefitting its energy mix.
• Provide technical support during development works like evaluation of feasibilities, EPC proposals, assist in technical aspects of the regulatory submissions or during engagement with the lenders, or other stakeholders.
• Ability to review, interpret and re-engineer the heat balance drawings, water work on the design software like Thermoflex and others.
• Review the evaluations of the technical proposal of thermal/ hydel generation projects and review the development activities along with their milestones.
• Lead technical due diligence of the proposed projects
Requirements:
• BE (Process/Chemical Engineering) from NED/NUST.
• 5 years or more of relevant experience of working and designing Coal Power Plant,
• Refinery, Chemical, Fertelizer or Engineering design consultancy.
