Purpose
Responsible for performance reporting and other strategic and cost saving initiatives as a Finance Business Partner to Transmission Business. The role includes Transmission Score Card development, monitoring post its implementation and ongoing improvement in the methodology. Moreover, this position will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting of MYT Plan.

Area of Responsibilities
1 Profitability & Management Reporting
- Analysis and variance reporting of Transmission Business performance.
- Ensure timely preparation of monthly management report.
- Ensure timely preparation of monthly finance report.
- Preparation of monthly REVEX, CAPEX and profitability report for Transmission BU.
- Preparation of monthly cashflows reporting and forecasting of Transmission routine business to relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct regular reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in the general ledger.
2 Specialized Tasks & Reporting
- Managing the Fixed Assets tagging assignment through logically overseeing the assignment’s field work, subsequent desktop work, reconciliations and integration of Plant Maintenance (PM) Module with FAR (Fixed Assets Register)
- Overseeing the preparation of data and facilitating the preparation of Audit workings for Managing End of Term NEPRA Audit.
- Preparation and circulation of dashboard report consisting of category-wise detail of CAPEX Budget, Consumption & NEPRA allowed status.
- Data/ Reports required for Tax Audits, NEPRA req., BPR team, Treasury etc.
- Other tasks as per requirement i.e. Insurance claim related working etc.
3 Business Procurement Operations oversight
- Overseeing the procedural matters involved in processing PRs, POs, Contracts, CWRFs, ROs from commercial & business perspective, while maintaining Budget & MYT controls.
4 Cost Saving Initiative, Process Improvement & Automation
- Liaison with Transmission technical team and benchmarking similar other companies to identify cost saving initiatives.
- Preparation & implementation of automation and process improvement plan.
- Analyze existing workflows to pinpoint tasks that can be automated for increased speed and accuracy.
- Create SOPs and policies in accordance with functional requirements; and suggest improvement in existing SOPs.
- Involve in augmenting the use of SAP S4 Hana in terms of Reporting & Controls.
