Purpose
Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure efficient functioning of the warehouse. This includes overseeing receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods, managing inventory levels, and coordinating with suppliers and customers as required.Warehouse performance monitoring by tracking performance against the KPIResponsible for coordinating with the warehouse team to achieve departmental goals and objectives. This includes scheduling work assignments, providing training and support as required, and promoting a positive work cultureTeam building and target assignments. Monitoring performances and taking regular feedbacks from Warehouse leads. Ensuring the HSEQ guidelines and procedures to be implemented at stores.Coordinating with HR for filling the workforce gapsManage, analyse, and improve the efficiency of warehouse operations by optimizing the procedures and processes. Responsibilities includes evaluating existing processes, identifying bottlenecks and lead the possible solutions. Leverage data analysis and technology to identify areas for improvement, streamline processes, and enhance overall warehousing performanceEnsuring the HSEQ guidelines and procedures to be implemented at stores.Develop quantifiable metrics and management expertise, lead departmental audits to for controlling and procedural complianceEnsure effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as KE Users, internal departments, and warehouses
Required Education & Experience
Engineering Degree (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial) OR MBA in Supply Chain and CSCP will be a Plus. At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain with experience of maximising opportunities to enable change.Experience in SAP MM, WMS modules with expertise in SAP S4 HANA/ MIS reporting.Experience of developing medium to long-term strategies and implementationExperience in operations management and Process improvementExperience in cultivating high performance, result-oriented culture through team building and growth-based organization structure
Trainings & Certifications (Mandatory)
- ERP system handling
- Supply chain process expertise.
- SAP ECC & APO
- Business process engineering.
- Adequate knowledge of Electrical Sector materials.
- Facility Development planning.
Area of Responsibilities
1 Inventory Management & Operations Management 30%
- Overseeing management of inventory, and warehouse locations in compliance with the guidelines issued by the management.
- Ensure all operational activities of IM are run in accordance with the approved IM procedures/SOPs and budget requirements.
- Ensure strict observance of HSEQ guidelines at all IM locations.
- Collaborate and engage other functional departments to provide optimum support with regards to Inventory availability as per requirement.
- Coordinate with internal departments of Distribution Maintenance Stores, R&I and Disposal for mutual matters pertaining to Inventory and Operations management.
2 Business Process improvement and Resource Management. 30%
- Analyze and translate data and measurements into insights and strategies to plan inventory volume and timing and to track and improve performance
- Plan, develop, implement and continuously improve processes, stocking strategies and systems to improve inventory performance.
- Develop and submit proposals to the Management for improvements in the day to day functions of IM.
- Develop Proposals regarding Improvement in procedures/SAP/IT initiatives and submit to Higher Management.
- Analyze warehouse capacity/resource requirements.
- Develop plans and strategies to handle these requirements.
- Coordinate and liaise with respective departments for the execution and fulfillment of projects.
3 Controlling & Reporting 20%
- Develop and review Procedures, SOPs, guidelines for inventory management processes and submit them to management for approval.
- Ensure that all operational activities of IM are run in accordance with the approved IM procedures/SOPs and budget requirements.
- Develop Budgeting input for IM, review and submit to management for approval.
- Ensure smooth conduct of Inventory Count and recon at IM locations in coordination with BF IM.
- Oversee development of reports related to IM operations and related task, review and submit to management for onward discussion.
4 People Management 20%
- Annual Target setting of the Reporting Staff on Success factor.
- Periodic Evaluation of performance of personnel & preparation of their APAs.
- Device Training and development plans for the reporting staff and ensure that they are being implemented.
- Encourage two-way communication and promote shared learning
- Empower team members to resolve issues by delegating tasks to the appropriate level.
- HR requirements gap analysis related to IM and fulfillment as per the approved organogram.
