Job Summary:

The SAP PM Coordinator is responsible for organizing, maintaining, and optimizing the SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) system to support efficient maintenance operations. This role ensures the accuracy of maintenance data, coordinates corrective, preventive and breakdown maintenance activities, and supports engineering and maintenance teams in achieving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SAP PM System Management:
  • Maintain and update SAP PM master data (equipment, functional locations, task lists, Maint. plans).
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of maintenance records and SAP documentation.
  • Creation & updation of SAP related SOPs. And ensure to perform all SAP activities as per concern SOP.
  • Maintenance Planning, Coordination & Trainings:
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate all preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities.
  • Build detailed job plans and managing materials related to maintenance work orders.
  • Minimize machine downtime by aligning maintenance schedules with production need.
  • Maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders, ITG, Operations, Supply Chain, and Power users.
  • Provide trainings to end users, regarding SAP procedures/operations as per business requirements.
  • Compliance with internal audit requirements by maintaining accurate SAP records and transparent tracking of inventory movements.
  • Inventory & Procurement Support:
  • Support maintenance teams in material issuance to perform maintenance tasks.
  • Manage and control material inventory for corrective & preventive maintenances.
  • Follow Up of purchase requisitions, purchase orders and SES approved by HODs.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain department regarding material deliveries.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
  • Generate monthly & weekly reports for maintenance activities & material consumption.
  • Arrange monthly meetings with stakeholder to define SAP progress & new developments.
  • management reports on maintenance KPIs such as backlog, schedule attainment, and PM compliance 
  • Maintain documentation and support audits and inspections.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills:                                                                                         Soft Skills:
  • Proficiency in SAP PM module.                                           Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with SAP FICO & MM module.                         Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools.                                              Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

 

  • Education & Experience:
  • B-Tech/DAE, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in SAP PM coordination or maintenance planning.
  • SAP S4/HANA Implementation experience is plus point.
