Purpose

To conduct survey and preparation of estimates for different civil works as requested by various user departments of KE.

Education

BE/BS Civil Engineering

 

 

Years of Experience

Should have a minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

Area of Responsibilities

 

  1. To supervise the execution of civil and structural works and ensure timely completion with effective quality control.
  2. Should have expertise in reviewing and validating structural design methodologies and drawings in accordance with applicable codes and standards (local and international including ACI 318, UBC 97, ASCE 7, AISC etc.)
  3. Should have expertise in civil structural software for e.g. ETABs, SAFE, STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, and Revit.
  4. Should be able to manage and monitor civil works projects from initiation to completion.
  5. To check and verify contractor’s bills and amendments and record proper Measurement Books.
  6. To prepare estimates and amendments as requested by KE‘s user departments.
  7. To assist Manager in preparation of daily, weekly and monthly progress reports of the region.
  8. To assist in planning and budgeting of all construction and renovation activities at K-Electric.
  9. Coordinate with internal departments and external contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
  10. Ensure adherence to specifications, drawings, and contractual obligations on a project.
