Position Overview:
The Data Analyst / Assistant Manager will analyze data to provide insights and support decision-making processes within the organization. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify trends, generate reports, and implement data-driven strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection & Management:
- Gather and organize data from various sources, ensuring its integrity and accuracy.
- Maintain and update databases and data management systems.
- Data Analysis:
- Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
- Utilize statistical methods and analytical tools to generate actionable recommendations.
- Reporting & Visualization:
- Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to present findings to stakeholders.
- Use data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to enhance the understanding of insights.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with teams across departments to understand their data needs and provide support.
- Participate in meetings to discuss findings and recommend strategies based on data analysis.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements through data analysis.
- Assist in developing and implementing data-driven strategies to optimize operations.
- Project Management:
- Support project management initiatives by providing data analysis and insights.
- Assist in tracking project performance metrics and reporting outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field;
- Experience: 1-2 years in data analysis or a related role,.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikSense, QlikView).
- Familiarity with database management systems and data warehousing concepts.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Additional Requirements:
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Experience in a relevant industry (e.g., finance, healthcare, marketing) is a plus.
