Position Overview:
The Data Analyst / Assistant Manager will analyze data to provide insights and support decision-making processes within the organization. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify trends, generate reports, and implement data-driven strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection & Management:
    • Gather and organize data from various sources, ensuring its integrity and accuracy.
    • Maintain and update databases and data management systems.
  • Data Analysis:
    • Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
    • Utilize statistical methods and analytical tools to generate actionable recommendations.
  • Reporting & Visualization:
    • Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to present findings to stakeholders.
    • Use data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to enhance the understanding of insights.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with teams across departments to understand their data needs and provide support.
    • Participate in meetings to discuss findings and recommend strategies based on data analysis.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process enhancements through data analysis.
    • Assist in developing and implementing data-driven strategies to optimize operations.
  • Project Management:
    • Support project management initiatives by providing data analysis and insights.
    • Assist in tracking project performance metrics and reporting outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field;
  • Experience: 1-2 years in data analysis or a related role,.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
    • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikSense, QlikView).
    • Familiarity with database management systems and data warehousing concepts.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Additional Requirements:

  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Experience in a relevant industry (e.g., finance, healthcare, marketing) is a plus.
