Purpose

This role’s primary responsibility is to assist Project Manager and  help to plan, coordinate, and oversee projects to ensure timely completion. Work closely with various teams to track progress, manage resources, and handle administrative tasks. This role ensures that the strategies are embedded within the business operational plans and performance management plans. These responsibilities are carried out with the objective of ensuring process efficiency, in line with the organization’s policies, values and code of conduct, and directions from the supervisor.

Education

BE/BS in Electrical/Electronics/Software/CS/ Data Scientist along with Finance or Economics Acumen (MBA)
Relevant certification or Masters degree will be preferred

Experience

2-3 Years of experience in either Strategy/ Business Planning / Finance

 

Area of Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Planning 20%

  • Assist in developing and making amendments to the strategic business plan for distribution business
  • Assist in validating distribution business budgets andfinalizing the same to be presented for approval with the board
  • Analyse Macro Economic data that affects the strategic direction of the company and its resultant impact on the business plan.
  • Analyse and monitor periodically the results of Projects tracking and suggest corrective action in case of deviation
  • Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and plan new projects
  • Analyse complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making
  • Supporting senior management team and department heads with in-depth analysis
  • Prepare data and presentations for BOD meetings depicting distribution business highlights along with ad-Hoc reporting and analysisAssist in performing strategic evaluation, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions in line with the aligned business plan
  • Assist in development of budgeting by coordinating with distribution operation, non-ops and support functions
     

Data Analytics 30%

  • Assist in business forecasting and analyze the factors and their impact on the business plan
  • Analyze trends and identify the change in pattern and suggest strategies accordingly
  • Perform impact analysis on the distribution long term business plan
  • Study and Identify global best practices relevant to tariff regimes, utility business models, and other market trends in line with the requirements of the function and incorporate the latest methodologies to achieve optimum outputs.
  • Prepare data and presentations for BOD meetings/Regulator depicting distribution business highlights along with ad-Hoc reporting and analysis
  • Develop Weekly & Quarterly reports on analytics using latest tools for reflecting current trends

  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Communicate with stakeholders regarding project needs and goals.
  • Track and report project progress, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as preparing invoices, estimates, and scheduling meetings.
  • Help coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables.
  • Analyze data and provide insights to improve project efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Address project issues and escalate concerns when necessary.

 

Stakeholder Management 10%

  • Maintain coordination and impactful communication with all business functions to ensure smooth implementation of Business Plan
  • Liaise with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy of macro-economic and organizational data for effective projections and forecasts
  • Work closely with regulatory function to maintain accurate and impactful data for the regulator
