PURPOSE
Under general direction, responsible for the design and development of mobile applications. Evaluate and research latest technologies. Work with functional and enterprise team members to design and implement new functionality on different platforms. Analyze and resolve application performance problems. As needed, provide guidance and expertise to development team on how best to design the product solution to work with mobile devices. Incumbents understands thoroughly tne major platform: iOS, Android, ArcGIS Collector, etc. This includes the whole process, from the first line of code to publishing in the GIS stack. Due to the fragmentation of this ecosystem, a mobile developer must pay special attention to the application's compatibility with multiple versions of Android and device types using ArcFM SDK and API.
Education & Relevant Experience: Graduate preferably Masters / bachelor’s in computer science with relevant certifications, 3+ years of experience

1 Smart Phone Application and Spatial Database 20
• Developing android UI and widget using esri’s specific android and iOS SDK to build use cases required by the GIS customers.
• Developing Web services on ArcGIS servers to be consumed for smart phone application development and integrations.
• Customizing the attribute and graphics tool in existing GIS collector for better and optimized application.
• Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts and best practices for coding mobile apps.
• Utilization of spatial database in smart phone application as offline and online operations.
2 Mobility with ArcFM Network 20
• Managing Mobile GIS applications and the overall electrical network data flow from mobile apps to the Enterprise Geo-Database.
• Developing online/offline mobile maps for EHT, HT & LT as-built network data collection from the ground.
• Managing user access for editable Mobile GIS applications for Business Stakeholders.
• Conduct hands-on trainings and awareness session for Field crews for Mobile GIS applications.
3 Analytics and Dashboarding 15
• Develop summarized visualization of spatial data in smart phone and real time synchronization
• Develop reports using SQL and Oracle for TPRE, Planning and Operations departments to make business decisions better.
• Develop dashboards using ESRI specific analytical tools for multiple KE stakeholders.
• Develop graphical representation of KE Network on mobile and provide statistical decision making tool.
4 Intelligent Spatial Data and Problem Solving 20
• Develop and implement intelligent logic to support stakeholder for better planning and decision making.
• Transform the users requiremtn into spatial digitization for collecting field data in quick manner.
• Implement advanced solution using machine learning and augmented reality for on field survey and planning.
• Update network switch status by mobile application using cloud based messaging and notification
• Use state-of-the-art algorithms to make data-driven decisions and produce effective machine learning models by incorporating spatial data and location-infused algorithms.
5 GIS development for Planning and Distribution 15
• Design and develop android/iOS application for data collection of point features on the fields.
• Verification and correction of data using barcode and QR code functionality in the electrical asset.
• Developing reports and map based analytics for stakeholders from GIS database.
6 End-User support 10
• Provides first-level support to the end-users on GIS applications i.e. Web, Mobile, and Dashboards by resolving the issues related to functionality/usage.
• Provide second-level support by troubleshooting the technical issues of the end-users for GIS applications related to the non-connectivity, system incompatibility, and app downtime.
• Escalate the issues with the IT development team if any program related bug arises in end-user dashboards.
