Objectives:

The position is responsible to manage material planning and allocation of entire distribution network; Analyze material requirements of end users based on consumption trends, execution capacity and standard BOMs; Ensures rationalization in forecasting of budgets with respect to materials for the relevant departments;  Align material supply with demand; Check monthly material flows; identifies deviations from defined procurement plan and process the rationalized numbers after getting endorse from users and approved from BF; with the objective to act as a single point of contact for material budgeting, planning and allocation to all departments of distribution; the position operate within policies and SOPs of the company

 Education: MBA Supply Chain/ Finance or equivalent qualification in finance or supply chain.

 

Strategic Activities:

  • Allocation of material, based on approved budget and requirement submitted by all department of distribution on monthly basis
  • In case of shortage of material, negotiates with the departments, and allocates material accordingly
  • Identifies slow moving and dead stock items, coordinates with users and arrange to utilize it

 

Material Planning & Analysis:

  • Bi-annual planning of material requirements in line with the business needs at plant level.
  • Checks validity of Standard BOM against the actual consumption
  • Confirms validity of material as per KE standard specs through TPRE
  • Gets endorsement from users and approval from BF and finalized the MR
  • Coordinate with relevant portfolio managers to get updates on upcoming deliveries status and share the same with users monthly to plan execution accordingly
