Purpose: This role is responsible for overseeing the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud and on-premises infrastructure. This role ensures optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency of the company's IT resources while supporting the organization's operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Deploy, configure, and manage cloud resources and services (Azure Cloud, AWS DNS Route 53).
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Manage cloud-based solutions, including virtual machines, storage, and databases (PaaS Services).
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost.
System Administration:
- Administer and maintain on-premises Windows servers, operating systems, Active Directory Domain services, Exchange Servers, and SQL Clusters.
- Provide VMware Virtualization support functions, TrendMicro Email Security, TrendMicro ApexOne, and Office365 security.
- Lead and implement system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
- Administer Office365 and cloud users.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure stability and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and authentication processes.
Security & Compliance:
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures for both cloud and on-premises environments.
- Develop, document, and test comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities, including systems patching activity.
- Maintain backup and disaster recovery plans and activities.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
- Monitor system performance and availability, and proactively address potential issues.
- Analyze and optimize system performance to meet business needs.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide technical support to end-users and internal teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cloud and on-premises systems.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with development teams, network engineers, and other IT staff to ensure seamless integration and operation.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding system changes, updates, and issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in infrastructure management or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud and on-premises infrastructure management.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware).
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
- Experience with TrendMicro Email Security and ApexOne.
