Purpose
The purpose of the role is to provide support in managing commercial matters of transmission projects through planning, controlling, and monitoring of budgets and projects. The role helps the division in accessing timely updates on the status of the project and access to key financial matters.

Area of Responsibilities
1 Multi Year Tariff - Transmission Projects
• Assist in coordination with Transmission technical teams to obtain technical requirement of new Grids/TLs and augmentation related projects in line with demand.
• Analyze new projects and corroborate the loading with existing capacity of surrounding grids and TLs.
• Preparation of business case and financial analysis for proposed new projects.
• Develop project investment model for RAB.
• Assist in preparation of costing benchmarks.
• Assist in finalization of reasoning and justification paper/PPT with technical team for management/leadership, BOD and regulatory bodies.
2 PID Project Controlling
• Ensuring compliance to commercial terms of the contract through effectively coordinating with user department and contractor.
• Preparation of commercial correspondence with vendors
• Verification and processing of invoices in compliance with the commercial terms of the contract.
• Liaison with Accounts and Treasury for release of timely payments to vendor.
• Assist the user in preparation of management approval notes.
• To assist in Project commercial closure in liaison and coordination with user.
3 MIS Reporting
• Assist in preparation of various reports for transmission projects for onward reporting to NEPRA.
• Coordinate with all BF Transmission project teams to consolidate reports and finalize draft report for supervisor review.
• Reporting and compilation of cash spending report on monthly basis for all transmission projects.
• Reviewing of accounting entries in SAP ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist in preparation of Annual CAPEX budget for transmission Projects and its subsequent monitoring.
• To assist in Compilation of Annual CAPEX and REVEX budget for PID and its subsequent monitoring.
• Creating and maintaining monthly reporting of project financial status.

4 Fixed Asset Capitalization
• Coordinate with user department for timely asset tagging.
• Prepare the capitalization working w.r.t. invoices, accruals, equipment list and tagging.
• Obtain approval as per mandate and upload capitalization in SAP.
• Provide payments, asset capitalization and closing status report at month end.
5 New Connections Above 5 MW CFT
- Support in review the new Grids cases provided by NC department.
- Prepare estimated cost of Grid and TL Construction.
- Assist in review of draft Power Supply agreements and ensure the commercial risks are the minimized.
