Deputy Manager Basis

Purpose

The Deputy Manager SAP Basis is responsible for ensuring the administration, stability, security, and performance of the SAP landscape hosted on SAP RISE Private Cloud Edition (SAP S/4HANA, Cloud ALM, Fiori, BTP, IAG etc.) & On Prem SAP BW .The role ensures availability, compliance, disaster recovery readiness, and optimal system performance, Incident Escalations while coordinating closely with SAP under the RISE operational model and SLA framework.

Education (Mandatory)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering.
• SAP Basis certification (preferred).
• SAP Cloud Product (BTP, IAG & Security) (preferred).

Trainings & Certifications

    Excellent Knowledge of SAP Basis 
    Excellent knowledge of Oracle DB Administration
    Operations Management 
    Good Analytical and Technical knowledge
    Certification in SAP Basis
    Experience as a DBA supporting MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle 10g/11g/12c RAC databases in a large-scale Unix and Linux environment
 

Years of Experience

• 3+ years of SAP Basis experience.
• Hands-on experience with S4HANA RISE PCE / SAP BW.
• Experience with SAP HANA database administration.
• Experience with SAP Cloud Product (BTP, CC, IAG etc.) (Preferred)

Area of Responsibilities

• Administration and monitoring of SAP RISE Private Cloud landscape (S/4HANA, Fiori, Cloud ALM) & On Prem BW.
• SAP BTP subaccount administration, role collections, entitlements, service provisioning & License Management.
• Administration and support of SAP Cloud Products (SuccessFactors, Ariba, SAC, IAG).
• Implementation and management of SSO using IAS/IPS and integration with corporate identity providers (e.g., Azure AD).
• SAP Identity Access Governance (IAG) configuration and access control management.(Preferred)
• Support for SAP cloud upgrades, release management, and patch coordination.
• Ensure compliance, audit readiness, and disaster recovery coordination within RISE framework & Conduct RCA for critical incidents.
• Client administration and transport management (TMS).
• System refreshes, copies, and migrations on SAP RISE PCE.
• Monitor SAP systems and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure, Database, Network, and Security teams.
