Purpose:

To ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of bank transactions, resolution of discrepancies, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to maintain financial integrity and compliance.

 

Education & Experience Requirement:
ACCA in addition to Bachelors with Accounting and Finance as major + 4 years of relevant work experience.

 

Areas of Responsibility:
•     Perform monthly interbank postings and upload MT940 files in SAP by the reporting timelines.
•     Manually clear outstanding bank transactions within due time.
•     Review and Circulate monthly ageing reports.
•     Prepare IT vs BDC reports and resolve discrepancies with IT and NIFT.
•     Follow up on old spillover differences and ensure resolution with banks and service providers.
•     Coordinate with banks and departments to clear untraceable outstanding items, including cash and material transactions.
•     Prepare monthly journal vouchers for cheques in hand, timebarred cheques, and GPO collections.
•     Update daily exchange rates in SAP and support external audit processes.
•     Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with HSE policies.
•     Participate in safety committee meetings and conduct management safety audits.
