Purpose

To strategically drive and oversee the end-to-end execution of flagship organizational program including technical talent pipeline management via the Apprentice Program, cross-functional Pilgrimage operations, Canteen Vendor Governance, and SAP operational controls while ensuring regulatory compliance, stakeholder alignment, and operational excellence.

Education (Mandatory)

Functional Competencies

Area of Responsibilities

1    Apprentice Program (Flagship Talent Pipeline Management)

  • Drive end-to-end execution of the Apprentice Program as a core technical talent pipeline for the organization, aligning program goals with long-term business requirements.
  • Coordinate with People Business Partners (PBPs) to capture manpower requirement (Distribution, G&T, and HR Learning), design sourcing strategies, candidate pool selection and plan candidate inductions under the Apprentice Framework.
  • Ensure full adherence to government and regulatory frameworks (e.g., STEVTA guidelines), managing official registrations, statutory documentation, and completion certifications.
  • Analyze market trends, formulate stipend structures/reward strategies, and govern semester-wise stipend processing aligned with statutory minimum wage/regulatory standards.
  • Facilitate structured onboarding, performance tracking, and potential absorption mechanisms into organizational roles to build future technical leadership.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external entities (regulatory bodies, vocational institutes, leadership teams) and maintain a robust grievance redressal framework for apprentices.

2    Canteen Management & Service Level Governance

  • Oversee vendor performance against defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs), food quality standards, and hygiene guidelines across company facilities.
  • Manage canteen billing cycles, audit vendor invoices against actual utilization/contractual rates, and optimize operational expenditure.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business units, cross-functional teams, and vendors to address service gaps and drive operational improvements.

3    Pilgrimage (Hajj / Umrah) Program: 

  • Lead the complete execution of employee pilgrimage initiatives, from initial quota management and policy alignment to final execution.
  • Design, manage, and oversee the official employee balloting process (Qurandazi), ensuring transparency and proper corporate announcements.
  • Formulate financial note-sheets for executive approvals, manage company-sponsored funding.
    Collaborate with partner banks and external authorities to manage online registrations, financial disbursements, and timeline adherence.
  • Ensure end-to-end operational support, travel facilitation, and high satisfaction levels for selected employees throughout their pilgrimage journey.

4    SAP Systems Operations & Process Controls

  • Manage SAP transactions, including Purchase Requisitions (PR), Release Orders (RO), and Service Entry Sheets (SES).
  • Maintain process controls, assign delegative roles (RO/PR/SES) within the team, and coordinate with IT to ensure appropriate user access and security compliance.
