Job Purpose:
The role is responsible for the operational management and delivery of Business Warehouse Reporting. This includes ensuring platform availability, managing issue resolution, implementing new reporting requirements. The role demands strong technical expertise in Qlik Sense, SQL scripting, operational ownership, and cross-functional coordination with business and IT stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management & System Availability:
- Ensure System Availability including high availability, Disaster Recovery and performance Management of BW Platform.
- Monitor scheduled data loads, resolve load failures, and manage data refresh cycles.
- Handle day-to-day operational issues, ensuring minimal disruption to reporting services.
- Take ownership of issue resolution, coordinating with IT teams and vendors as needed.
- Work with IT infrastructure, SAP Basis teams to manage server capacity, upgrades, and patches.
BW Reporting & Analytics Delivery:
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reports based on business requirements.
- Build and optimize data models, integrating data from multiple enterprise systems.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable visualizations and insights aligned with user needs.
- Develop new dashboards and reporting solutions in coordination with business teams.
- Ensure adherence to data governance, quality, and visualization best practices.
ITIL Process Alignment & Service Management:
- Support in application of ITIL processes such as incident, problem, and change management in handling analytics service operations.
- Assist in maintaining issue logs, RCA documents, and ensure timely closure of tickets as per SLAs.
- Assist to ensure that changes to the analytics platform follow established change control procedures.
Business Engagement & Continuous Improvement:
- Liaise with business users to gather and implement new analytics requirements and enhancements.
- Assist in user training and support to improve adoption and self-service analytics.
- Identify automation opportunities and contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives.
Audit & Documentation:
- Support in compliance with internal controls and external audit requirements.
- Maintain technical and functional documentation for all dashboards, data sources, and processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in analytics or BI operations OR at least 3 years in Enterprise application operations.
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and hands-on experience in analytics operations.
- Experience working with Operational support and ticket resolution.
- Solid grasp of data modeling, scripting, and visualization techniques.
