Job Purpose
This Deputy Manager is an energetic and tech-savvy professional with some experience in financial product development and digital services. This role supports partnerships with Banks, Fintechs, NBFIs, and other partners to help develop and promote digital payment solutions. The Deputy Manager will work on driving digital payments through KE/Bank apps, POS machines, and e-commerce platforms using technologies like Dynamic QR, 1QR, 1Pay, NFC, and other easy and cost-effective options. They will help find new payment channels, create a schedule for partnership activities, and build good relationships with service providers. The Deputy Manager will also analyze data to support growth in digital payments, encourage customers to use digital methods, promote preferred channels, and assist in designing loyalty rewards. They will coordinate with Marketing, IT, and Customer Services teams to manage expectations and improve payment systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Strategic Alliances & Partnerships
- Actively reach out to telcos, banks, and fintech companies to form partnerships that help promote KE’s digital payments.
- Help plan and manage all promotional campaigns from start to finish. Work with internal teams and partners to make sure everything runs smoothly.
- Coordinate with IT and IS teams to ensure integration is done on time and launch campaigns as scheduled.
- Track and report on campaign results to see how well partnerships are performing.
- Manage existing key partnerships:
- Help set up ways to review ongoing projects and work with the GM to find opportunities to grow these partnerships.
- Work with partners to introduce new products using best practices and market trends.
- Work with different teams inside KE to ensure good coordination and cooperation for partnership success.
- Support the development of loyalty programs with payment partners.
- Loyalty Program
- Help create and run the loyalty program across all customer service channels. Use available customer data to suggest who should be eligible for the program.
- Deliver a focused loyalty program for target customers to strengthen the brand. Watch monthly changes in customer behavior and update the program accordingly.
- Find and bring in loyalty experts and vendors. Research the market, help negotiate, build the business case, and select the best vendor.
- Work with other business units to come up with joint campaigns. Start planning early and manage ideas to increase customer interest and engagement.
- Manage all reward campaigns, making sure they run on time and stay within the budget.
- People Management
- Finds out what training the team needs and works with HR to support their development, career growth, and motivation.
- Builds good teamwork and makes sure team members work well together. Ensures everyone has equal chances to learn and grow.
- Encourages team members to share knowledge and improve their skills. Supports the team by coaching and guiding them.
Education & Relevant Experience: Business degree/ qualification in Finance / Marketing / Economics having experience & understanding of digital partnerships infrastructure and processes. Over 4 years+ experience in the utility/ power sector being involved in digital transformation, digital payments, partnerships and alliances.
