The candidate would be expected to work on ADMS implementation, with tasks that include contacting vendors to examine their solutions, assisting the ADMS team in building the best fit solution for KE, and reporting on the progress of the specific ADMS implementation areas. The candidate would be responsible for ensuring that the proposed solutions address the desired ADMS feature sets. He/she will be required to coordinate with internal departments to ensure availability of prerequisites for ADMS implementation.
Purpose
The candidate would be expected to work on ADMS implementation, with tasks that include contacting vendors to evaluate their solutions, assisting the ADMS team in building the best fit solution for KE, and reporting on the progress of the specific ADMS implementation areas. The candidate would support project team in ensuring that the solutions proposed by the vendors address the desired ADMS feature sets. He/she will be required to coordinate with internal departments to ensure availability of prerequisites for ADMS implementation.
Education
Bachelor's in engineering, preferably with Business expertise (any discipline) / Financial qualification
Knowledge
- Good knowledge of Electric Utility's MV distribution network
- Knowledge of SCADA/ADMS is plus
- Familiar with Project Management standards
Experience
1+ Years of experience as per company policy. Must have financial acumen and experience in project management
Competencies
Area of Responsibilities
1. Liaison with support departments (40%)
- Coordinate with AOCs & OCRs to ensure smooth deployment
- Interaction with IT on network and infrastructure availability at user sites
- Mitigate any issues that arise with the ADMS users
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for ADMS readiness and fulfilment of implementation prerequisites
2. ADMS Solutioning (30%)
- Review the solutions from ADMS standard features perspective
- Evaluate the flexibility of the GUI for the end users
- Support ADMS team in reviewing the information exchange from and to IT OT systems
- Review and incorporate WFM related use cases delivery
3. Coordination with ADMS solution providers (30%)
- As per the requirements, support his/her manager in vendor interactions
- Clarification of technical aspects of offered solutions
