JOB FUNCTION
- Manage/Attend preventive maintenance Schedule of Telecom/Wireless Equipments.
- Carried out faults rectification, installation, and re-commissioning of Telecom /Wireless Equipments.
- Update and maintain Tele-protection, Data, and speech communication.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan & supervise PLC outdoor coupling installation work as well as Wireless communication Installation.
- Laying and Testing of fiber optic cables terminated at marshalling panels.
- Provide assistance in project works related to Telecommunication system.
- Perform Tele-protection testing with coordination of Protection Department.
- Maintain RTU Data Channels with coordination of SCADA Department.
- Responsible for repair work pertaining to faulty components brought in work shop.
- Carried out site survey for new Installation, shifting and dismantling of Telecom/Wireless system.
- Issuance of spares from the Inventory to attend faults and updated their record.
- Train newly inducted AEs and NON-Management Staff.
- Carried out Inspection of Telecommunication Equipments and accessories at Central Store.
- On-Call duty for 24 hours.
- Compliance to corporate governance, and maintain office decorum and proper functioning of general office work.
- Accountable for performance of timely completion of objectives through APA.
SAFETY
- Observe health safety environment principles during work.
- Prepared SOPs and implement.
- Prepared and managed safety related documents.
- Conduct TBT before leaving for work and at site.
