BASIC JOB FUNCTIONS
|
Ensure the continuity of Sinuat Spectrum SCADA Application, Services and Hardware Infrastructure by monitoring and providing first level support to network control/operations related to scripts, information retrieval, Cross-Trip Schemes, BARCO Wall and EHT/HT network streams for VNC sessions. |
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
|
24/7 continuity of SCADA/EMS Services by promptly troubleshooting & resolving issues. |
|
Provide 1st level of support for SCADA application issues reported by Network Control/Operations. |
|
Troubleshoot the Audible Alarm, CTS, Message and Analog retrieval, Tagging/Notes and Manual values functionality issues related to SCADA Services. |
|
Co-ordinate with the SCADA users to ensure continuous visibility of the Network. |
|
Monitoring the status of Servers, Workstation, GPS Time and Frequency, UPS, Network Switches and Firewalls. |
|
Inspection and verification of daily SCADA application backups at LDC. |
|
Report formulation of the Restoration of Backup at DRC and complete synchronization. |
|
General Inspection of the Server room and machines to timely report the errors that occurred. |
|
Monitoring the environment monitoring system (EMS) of the server room and taking necessary actions to control it, when required.
|
|
Perform daily inspections of the UPS, BARCO room and display systems to ensure smooth functionality. |
|
Monitor and troubleshoot the Thin-client deployed EHT Network VNC Streams. |
|
Co-ordination with the distribution team on Al-Mawa SCADA Sessions. |
|
Coordinate and provide support to the RTU/Telecom teams for the resolution of discrepancies and link issues. |
|
Abide by instructions to handle other systems as needed /instructed/directed by line manager and/or above authorities. |
|
Ensure 24/7 availability to work in the shift operations. |
|
Ensure the smooth handing and taking over of the shifts for seamless continuity of business. |
