PURPOSE
The position helps the distribution department to bring improvement in current business processes, closely liaising with Business and Technology to map and optimize current operations and maintenance processes of distribution. It helps to make the process more flexible and seamless through process improvements, enhancements, and optimization initiatives to increase the process efficiency by eliminating business redundancies. This also helps in application of process improvement and reengineering methodologies and principles to conduct change management efforts and business process modernization projects.
Education & Relevant Experience: Engineering/IT / Business graduate with 1-2 years of post-qualification experience
Knowledge
1. Understanding of various Software Development Life Cycle methodologies, including Agile.
2. Experience in gathering business requirements, gap analysis, process flows, road mapping, and solution design.
3. Experience designing, developing, and executing test plans.
4. Ability to establish immediate credibility with internal & external stakeholders and leaders.
5. Experience thriving in a dynamic work environment, balancing priorities for efficient workflow.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
1 Process Reengineering
• To analyze and identify opportunities for business process improvements
• To develop initiatives for continuous business process improvements
• To ensure compliance with customer and company proposed standards
• To work with other process teams for integration of new and existing business processes
• To use best practices to carry out business process analysis, re-engineering, process measurements & change management activities
• To closely work with stakeholders to identify business requirements, processes and risks
• To aid in evaluating financial models for cost estimation, cash flow and cost reduction
• To prioritize and execute projects for ongoing business improvements
• To align internal and external stakeholders through streamlining, reengineering and transforming business processes
• To assist in group facilitation, training, and provides additional forms of knowledge transfer
• To facilitate as key coordinator between multiple project teams for enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts
• To works in conjunction with business strategies program leaders to provide desired re-engineering practices and to ensure alignment of re-engineering initiatives to business objectives
• To take daily supervision and direction from the Process Reengineering team lead to conduct projectized tasks and assignments
• To partner with functional teams to share continuous improvement best practices
• To define, implement and maintain business processes and procedures to meet business objectives 80%
2 Status Reporting
• To prepare monthly, quarterly, and weekly progress reports/presentations for higher management, this includes but is not limited to; exceptional reporting, summarized reporting, KPI-based reporting, and mail-based escalations. 20%
