Job Responsibilities
- Communicate with auditee management to ensure that pertinent data and information is received from auditee in a timely manner.
- Prepare audit program and identify key risk areas of the audit to be carried out.
- Prepare draft observations along with preliminary assessment of the control environment.
- Review the work performed by team members to ensure the adequacy of testing performed and the conclusions reached. Ensure that procedure is defined in the audit program and adequately and timely carried out.
- Ensure that working papers are adequately maintained along with supporting evidence.
- Carry out sites visits for physical inspection of jobs executed by auditee management and ensure strict adherence to Safety policies and protocols.
- Assists the Manager / DGM in preparation of Internal Audit Plan
- Perform administrative duties delegated by the line manager.
- Responsible for follow up of audit assignments and action plans by supporting and supervising the team.
- Perform special assignments, investigations entrusted by line manager / skip level
- Ensure utilization of computer assisted audit tools during the audit such as E-audit
- Evaluate the work of team members, counseling and coaching to strengthen their knowledge and skills
Education / Experience
- BE in Electrical from a HEC-recognized university with at least one year of experience in Grid System Maintenance / Transmission Network / Grid Project / Transmission Project.
- Adequate knowledge of Grid & Transmission Equipment, and the technical operations of Grid System / Transmission Network maintenance / Grid or Transmission projects, and processes specially related to Grid and Transmission Systems.
- Adequate working knowledge of technical operations of Transmission network
- Proficient in using MS Excel, Word, and Power Point.
- Fluent in written and spoken English with strong report writing and presentation skills.
- Must possess a high degree of honesty and integrity
