Job Responsibilities 

  • Assist the Manager / DGM in preparing the Internal Audit Plan.
  • Ensure all relevant risks are identified and covered in IPRA during BPU, including control testing.
  • Assist in the preparation of comprehensive audit programs, including identification of key objectives and risk areas.
  • Perform and review audit procedures at the Team Lead level to ensure timely execution and quality.
  • Maintain adequate documentation of audit evidence and working papers, referencing SOPs, manuals, standards, regulations, and best practices. Support timely preparation of draft observations in line with QAIP requirements.
  • Discuss audit observations with auditees/process owners to reach agreement and understand corrective action plans.
  • Responsible for the risk classification of observations based on the risk classification matrix of Internal Audit department.
  • Review team members’ work to ensure adequacy of testing and validity of conclusions, ensuring audit procedures are properly followed.
  • Check compliance with the HSE standards and protocols covered in the SOPs/WMS, risk assessment by User/HSE, User/CHSEQ procedures as applicable/available on site, etc. during safety spot checks and share observations with the HSE-Transmission providing user's shared applicable SOPs, WMS, RA, etc. reference wherever applicable. Keep a complete record of Spot Check visits including all the evidence and assist in updating the consolidated MIS of the Safety Spot Checks conducted by IA.
  • Undertake special assignments and investigations directed by Line Manager / Skip Level.
  • Utilize computer-assisted audit tools such as ACL / E-audit during audits.
  • Evaluate, counsel, and coach team members to enhance their knowledge and skills.

Education / Qualification & Experience

  • BE in Electrical / Electronic from a HEC-recognized university with 01-03 years of experience in Grid System Maintenance / Transmission Network / Grid Project / Transmission Project.
  • Adequate knowledge of Grid & Transmission Equipment, and the technical operations of Grid System / Transmission Network maintenance / Grid or Transmission projects, and processes specially related to Grid and Transmission Systems.
  • Strong report writing and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in using MS Excel, Word, Power Point and SAP.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Must possess a high degree of honesty and integrity.
