Purpose:
This position mainly perform tasks pertaining to income tax payments and compliances on operational level. It encompasses detailed processing of online income tax payments, extracting details from relevant departments for uploading in withholding tax statements. It also implement changes in cases of income tax exemption in system plus extracting & gathering consumer wise data from the system for responding FBR queries. In addition the role is also supportive to Manager / DGM Taxation for tasks pertaining to Income tax audit & monitoring.
Education & Relevant Experience :
MBA Finance or Part Qualified ACCA/CMA/CA alongwith 3-5 years of experience
1 Timely filing of Statutory Declaration
Compile information for filing of WHT Statement on Quarterly basis
Assist in preparation & arranging documents for filing of annual income tax return
2 Compliance of Notices
To gather & compile information required by tax authorities in coordination with other departments in order to respond notices of FBR to avoid any adverse demand.
3 Income Tax Refund claims
Arrange documents for refund claims from different departments to claim the same from FBR.
4 WHT payments & Income tax exemption to Consumers
Processing payments of:
Vendor WHT on weekly basis
Salary WHT on monthly basis
WHT U/s 235 collected through Electricity bills on monthly basis
Provide income tax exemption to consumers who have valid exemption certificates issued by FBR.
