Assistant Manager Fleet Maintenance

PURPOSE:

Assist Manager Workshop and Inspection in day-to-day matters of workshops, including but not limited to, management and handling of all workshop stores and spares, management of workshop related vendors, Monitor and ensure timely completion of workshop related activities, reconciliation of ROs, and developing and managing workshop related budgets. 

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:    

Engineering degree Preferably in Mechanical/Automotive from an accredited local or foreign Institute. Knowledge of SAP, PM Module will be a plus

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:    

Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in industry. The post requires an adequate knowledge of Automotive parts, systems and hydraulics. 

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:    

    To assist in day-to-day operations of Workshop.
    Management of all emergency purchases through imprest. 
    Timely management of tendering for under 500k purchases through ARIBA and closure of tenders
    Ensure timely closure of vendor’s billing on monthly basis. 
    Responsible for managing complete material management related to workshop including all SAP related processes
    Ensuring timely creating of regular/contract PRs and ROs in SAP.
    Different analysis and trends studies pertaining to vehicle faults as per management directives.
