Purpose
To manage, supervise and lead Shift Operations at AOC for timely resolution of all HT & LT Network Complaints ensuring minimal consumer downtime ultimately leading towards improved SAIDI/CAIDI.
Minimum Education
Education (Mandatory)
BE Electrical/ Electronics
Education (Preferred)
Trainings & Certifications (Mandatory)
- Network/ Equipment Maintenance
- Fault Analysis and rectification
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office
- Basic knowledge of SAP CRM and PM module/ other monitoring tools
- Awareness with relevant HSE practices/ SOPs

- Provide guidance and direction to the teams.
- Drive development and objective structurization plans.
- Co-ordinate the performance management review process – probationary, mid and annual reviews; regular catch-up meetings with individual team members on periodical basis.
- Maintain a favorable work relationship with the team to promote a cooperative and harmonious work environment.
Business
Complaint Resolution:
- Ensure confirmation of TBT and vehicle check list is filled before dispatching/operating of field teams.
- Ensure formation of requisite number of teams and their timely dispatch along with PPEs/SPEs and other necessary tools during each shift routine.
- Prioritize work to achieve optimal performance and ensure proper working mechanism for teams in accordance with SOP.
- Undertake that before the repair of HT related faults/shutdowns, OCR is intimated and NSIS is updated accordingly.
- Monitor consumer complaints for resolution within minimum possible time.
- Monitor and follow-up on important/area affected faults.
- Ensure timely updating of relevant details on SAP CRM.
Coordination:
- Ensure that OCR stays updated of complaint resolution and subsequent normalization of areas affected due to HT faults.
- Coordinate with OCR to arrange necessary shutdowns for projects and back-feeding in affected areas in case of outages and confirm that all post shutdown activities are duly logged on Permit to work (PTW) form.
- Ensure that repeated faults are identified and forwarded to PM for appropriate measures.
- Ensure that faults once identified are properly isolated and forwarded to centralized UGM/SSM teams for corrective actions through proper logging in OCR.
- Coordinate with location’s POC/Business Coordinator for proper maintenance of duty rosters for all AOC staff.
- Undertake necessary coordination with fleet department for resolution of all relevant issues concerning vehicles, drivers, fuel, attendance etc.

Material Management:
- Ensure round the clock availability of PPEs/SPEs, tools and other material with all field force.
- Ensure issuance and crediting of returned material in each shift as per SOP.
Field Visits:
- Ensure regular site spot checks to identify non-efficient performers, safety Hazards, illegal extension of network/PMT and undertake subsequent corrective measures.
Health, Safety & Environment
- Ensure Tool Box Talks(TBTs) are carried out with the right spirit and as per SOP.
- Ensure that all operational activities with respect to network changes due to shut-down or back-feeding are maintained in the log book for reference to all.
- Maintain record and report all accidents without any delay that may occur within the AOC jurisdiction.
- Encourage and promote near-miss reporting activities.
