Job Purpose
- Assist DGM in groundwork for assignments such as collecting data from relevant departments and having initial kick off meetings with relevant teams
- Ensure that Policies / SOPs related to New Connection, Net Metering and Customer Services and other matters pertaining to regulations are adequately reviewed and any discrepancy is highlighted to business for correction
- Coordination and collation of ad-hoc information/report requests by NEPRA
- Preparing business case for seeking clarifications from NEPRA for business issues that are not explicitly clear or mentioned in various NEPRA regulations including but not limited to the Consumer Service Manual, Tariff Terms and Conditions, Consumer Eligibility Criteria etc.
- Data collection, groundwork and coordination with relevant stakeholders for filing of Review for NEPRA Decisions/Directives
- Developing creative and solution-based proposals for issues where regulations are silent by conducting detailed research and analysis on practices of other DISCOs and other economies in order to present the solution/recommendation to business and NEPRA for further approval
- Impart basic regulatory advice to relevant KE departments seeking guidelines / counseling on issues pertaining to NEPRA Rules and Regulations and SOPs.
- Complete all tasks, assignments, delegated by GM and DGM RA in a timely manner
Education and Relevant Experience: Bachelors in Business Administration/ACCA/ LLB- having at least (03) of experience
Knowledge:
- Ability to collect, collate, analyze and present data in a meaningful manner
- Basic knowledge of NEPRA Rules and Regulations and other applicable documents.
- Good drafting skills to prepare to the point responses
- Financial acumen and ability to analyze and makes sense of numbers
- Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively across all levels within the organization as well as with external stakeholders.
