Purpose:

The Assistant Manager CMIC is responsible for managing and optimizing the centralized material and invoicing processes within the Projects Department. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP MM (Materials Management) and PS (Project Systems) modules to analyze, forecast, and manage data effectively. The incumbent will leverage data management software, such as Excel and Power BI, to ensure accurate and efficient handling of materials and invoicing, contributing to the successful delivery of projects.

Education & Relevant Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with certification in Project Management Professional is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in material management, invoicing, and project systems, preferably within a project management environment.
  • Expertise in SAP MM and PS modules.
  • Proficiency in data management software, including Excel and Power BI.

Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP MM and PS modules.
  • Strong analytical skills to forecast and analyze data.
  • Proficiency in data management and visualization tools, such as Excel and Power BI.
  • Understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departmental boundaries.

Areas of Responsibility:

Business Objective:

  • Manage and optimize centralized material and invoicing processes in line with the organization’s objectives.
  • Utilize SAP MM and PS modules to track and manage project materials and invoicing accurately.
  • Analyze and forecast material requirements and invoicing trends to support project planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure the timely availability of materials and accurate invoicing.
  • Develop and implement best practices for material management and invoicing processes.
  • Monitor and report on the status of materials and invoicing, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI to provide insights into material usage and invoicing.
  • Conduct regular data analysis to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Prepare and present reports on material management and invoicing to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

Training & Development:

  • Provide training and support to project teams on material management and invoicing processes.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on SAP MM and PS modules.
  • Ensure that training initiatives align with the company’s objectives and comply with established standards.

People Management:

  • Identify training needs and opportunities for the staff.
  • Contribute to the performance management and career development of direct reports.
  • Create a conducive working environment to build and sustain an engaged and committed team.
