Assistant Manager Basis

Role Purpose:

Responsible for administering and supporting SAP landscapes hosted on RISE with SAP, ensuring system stability, performance, and security. The role includes managing BASIS operations, implementing SAP Cloud solutions (BTP, ALM, Signavio), and supporting transformation initiatives across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP Cloud Landscape Administration:
• Manage and monitor SAP S/4HANA systems under RISE with SAP.
• Administer and configure CTS/TMS, clients, background jobs, RFC connections, and system monitoring.
• Ensure system performance, availability, and compliance with audit/security requirements.
• Cloud Transformation & Operations:
• Manage and support SAP BTP (Integration Suite, Extension Suite, Work Zone, etc.).
• Configuration of SAP Cloud ALM for monitoring, alerting, and project operations.
• Support SAP Signavio adoption for process management and optimization.
• Enable integration between SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SuccessFactors, and Active Directory.
• Upgrades & Maintenance:
• Coordinate release management, patches, and upgrades with SAP.
• Oversee change management and regression testing activities.
• Security & Governance:
• Maintain object settings for both standard and custom transactions.
• Ensure security, compliance, and proper authorization integration across cloud applications.
• Support role design in line with best practices, ensuring minimal manual interventions.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong expertise in SAP BASIS administration on RISE with SAP.
• Hands-on knowledge of SAP BTP, SAP Cloud ALM, and SAP Signavio.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori and cloud integration scenarios.
• Experience in managing Authorization Objects, role design, and audit compliance in SAP cloud landscapes.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience in SAP RISE with SAP environments.
• SAP BASIS, HANA, or SAP Cloud certifications (BTP, Cloud ALM, Signavio) preferred.
