Assistant Engineer UGM,SSM

Purpose

To monitor field teams for resolution of UGM/SSM faults received through Operations.

Education (Mandatory)

DAE – Electrical/ B-Tech

Trainings & Certifications (Mandatory)

•    Knowledge of 11Kv Network System
•    Basic knowledge of Network Equipment and its specifications
•    General quality guidelines and standards

Area of Responsibilities

Business

• Ensure formation of teams as per available strength.
• Carry out Tool Box Talk (TBT) with the right spirit at the start of each shift before dispatching of any team.
• Prepare job slip and issue to Field Supervisor/AE.
• Ensure timely dispatching of field teams with necessary PPEs, SPEs and other necessary tools.
• Manage issuance of required material/equipment depending upon the nature of fault through SAP PM from DMS.
• Prepare/Issue emergency road Cutting Performa and coordinate with residents & civic agency rep on ROW permissions.
• Maintain dispatching record, attendance of OSP staff & excavation labor.
• Maintain Log Register with comprehensive details of every job.
• Coordinate with driver/vendor supervisor/fleet desk for vehicle related issues and maintain Vehicle attendance.
• Undertake constant coordination with field teams for early rectification of fault.
• Ensure that carry forward jobs are clearly understood by follow up shift AE-UGM/SSM.
• Ensure liaison with OCR for receiving/clearance of jobs, shutdown arrangements or any other safety related issue.
• Keep record of tools updated.
