Job Responsibilities:
- 1. Supervise and lead tower climbing activities on EHT transmission towers and communication towers, ensuring strict adherence to all safety SOPs, PPE requirements, and height‑work protocols.
- 2. Lead and supervise rigging operations on towers for safe installation, maintenance, and dismantling of telecom/wireless equipment, OPGW hardware, joint boxes, and transmission‑line accessories.
- 3. Carry out installation, replacement, and maintenance of outdoor telecom components such as Line Traps (LT), CC/CVT, LMUs, tuning pods, grounding cables, and transmission line jumpers.
- 4. Perform dismantling, repair, and replacement of coaxial cables on towers while ensuring proper routing, termination, and protective measures.
- 5. Operate telecom test equipment including antenna tuning tools, Wireless and Microwave diagnostic devices, teleprotection testers, and OPGW fiber testing instruments.
- 6. Supervise and participate in outdoor cable laying within grid stations, trenches, and tower approaches, ensuring proper cable management standards.
- 7. Conduct outdoor site surveys to identify discrepancies in telecom, OPGW, or coupling equipment and ensure timely resolution.
- 8. Ensure proper use of calibrated tools, maintain strict safety compliance, and monitor safe handling of telecom materials and equipment during installation, maintenance, and shifting tasks.
- 9. Conduct OPGW patrolling, hardware inspections, and joint box checks, ensuring correct fiber alignment, tensioning, and physical integrity along transmission routes
Experience: 3-5 Years
Education: DAE (Electrical/Electronics or related)
