Job Purpose:

With growing energy demands and needs, it is vital to curb any potential effects being injected into the KE system in the form of energy losses and voltage regulation. This will enable our valued customers to not only reduce their electricity bills but also to enhance the lifetime of their machines and system. The pivotal role of this position is to conduct surveys of consumers having Power Factor (PF) related issues and provide remedies and suggestions to improve it in efficient and effective manner.

 

Area of Responsibility:

Power Factor Improvement Surveys – Distribution Network

  • Conducting Surveys in line with the monthly plan
  • Preparing documentations and necessary tools to conduct surveys
  • Identifying and navigating routes for surveys
  • Coordinating with internal operations team for any collaboration

 

Power Factor Improvement Surveys – Consumers

  • Coordinating with relevant customers and providing feedback where necessary
  • Relationship building with our valued customers
  • Counsel and aware consumers about the power factor policy and subsequent measures to avoid PF penalties
  • Engagement with vendors of PFI solutions providers.

 

Data Validating and Reporting

  • Data gathering and punching in the portal
  • Reporting survey performed and their impact to the managers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word

 

Education & Relevant Experience:

DAE Electrical/ B-Tech

2-3 years of relevant experience

 

Knowledge:

  • Advance knowledge of Electrical/Electronic System
  • Power Factor Improvement Techniques
  • Types of electrical loads
  • Sound knowledge of electrical calculation
