BASIC JOB FUNCTIONS
To perform maintenance and monitoring of SCADA sub-systems i.e. UPS & Battery sub-system, Time & Frequency system, BARCO Wall, Weather Station, Server room, etc. Also resolve LAN and cabling related issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Regular monitoring of temperature, air conditioning and environment of Server room/UPS room/SCADA room and other sub-system locations
Regular monitoring of wear and tear-indications appearing on equipment installed in server room, BARCO, SCADA room and other SCADA facilities..
Inspection of 480 Nos. Batteries for indications of contamination/ damage.
Regular cleaning of batteries to remove Dust-accumulations.
Proper Housekeeping of UPS including daily inspection.
Proper housekeeping and regular maintenance of the weather station.
Proper housekeeping and regular maintenance of the Time and Frequency system.
Proper housekeeping and regular maintenance of BARCO System
Maintain LAN cables, cable tagging and their routes (underground and above) in all sub-systems
Ability of making LAN cable connectors.
Perform or supervise the cable laying activities in all SCADA facilities or as directed by line manager.
Basic Knowledge of computer Hardware and Microsoft Windows
Perform cleaning and air blowing of servers and workstations and BACO wall system
Meet Schedules and timelines, understand and follow oral and written directions.
Responsibly adopt all defined SCADA operational and safety operating procedures and policies.
Participate in safety drills/meetings, SOPs & housekeeping. Responsibly adopt all HSEQ recommended safety procedures and PPE’s during site/field visits.
Log and maintain records/reports for all tasks assigned.
Ensure availability of presence in emergencies and exigencies round the clock.
Abide by instructions to handle other systems as needed /instructed/directed by line manager and/or above authorities
