Assistant Engineer Material Planning

Purpose

Arrange the Materials requirement for production as well as all TSW Departments.

Responsible for Implementation of HSEQ and related SOPs.

Area of Responsibilities

Business / Functional Requirement:

• Efficient arrangement of materials requirement in order to achieve daily and monthly production targets.
• Efficient Demand Management
• Initializing material and service requirements by raising MR/PRs.
• On time availability of required material/service.
• Maintaining the safety stock and ensure availability of material on time as per user requirement.
• No Material stock outs.
• Budget monitoring of planned with consumption status.
• Budget visibility
• Effective reporting of PRs/POs status.
• Monthly reporting.
• Strong follow up & coordination with vendors & departments.
• Strong relationship building skills.

Customer Satisfaction:

• Maintaining a cooperative environment with interfaced departments for smooth running of TSW operations
• Meetings with interfaced departments

Employee Management:

• Maintaining database of individual performances, behavioural/ disciplinary issues and assist superior authority for required corrective actions
• Reporting of Disciplinary and Productivity issues
• Ensuring full compliance with safety standards and SOPs and regular couching of reporting team to achieve zero error
• Compliance to Safety standards/ SOPs
• Ensuring full compliance with security SOPs and regular couching of reporting team to achieve zero error
• Compliance to Security SOPs

Education

Bachelors in Finance or Supply Chain

Experience

Atleast 2 years of relevant experience

Knowledge

• Knowledge of Transformer repair processes, design and materials.
• Knowledge of Transformer testing and fault diagnosis.
• Knowledge and understanding of material planning techniques.
• Ability to interface well with lower staff, colleagues and management
• Cross departmental Communication
• Strong Computer skills
