Purpose
The position is responsible to implement change management strategies for Technology Project Stream of Distribution at K-Electric. Analyze processes and practices related to new technology interventions, perform time motion study, prepare cost benefit analysis, examine data and stats, propose change management drives for process efficiency & lead time, skill enhancement, standardization of practices, identification of roles and responsibilities, and future scalability. This position is responsible WITH objective realize true benefits of the technology introduced to KE landscape for reliability, efficiency and productivity improvement. This position work WITHIN the limits of organizational priorities, objectives, and smooth business operations.
Education
B.E. (Electrical or IT)/ Business Graduate
Knowledge
Strong grip required of business technical domain
Strong IT acumen
Understanding of current technical processes and existing constraints
Strong financial and data analytics concepts
Knowledge of change management methodologies
Strong electrical concepts
Proficient in Excel
Good at preparing analysis and BI tools for reporting
Good at performing analysis, ROI, and feasibility study
Experience
1-2 Year Experience required in relevant field

Area of Responsibilities
1 Process Benchmarking, Lead Time Identification & Segregation of Duties (35%)
- To identification of areas deserving new technology interventions to bring ease and efficiency to processes
- Collaborate with Technical Process Management team for process benchmarking and standardization with new product and enhance output
- Evaluate and collaborate for technology integration drives and initiatives
- Perform time motion study and identify process efficiency avenues and define TAT for processes
- Connect with distribution operations to develop, propose, design new process for efficient results
- Assist in designing the pilot phase of each project coupled with an entire roll out plan of each initiative
- Identify roles and responsibilities and define segregation of duties with tested and approved authorization matrix
2 Cost Benefit Analysis, ROI Calculation & Project Scalability (25%)
- Prepare cost benefit analysis for technical evaluation of products
- Contribute to prepare payback period and return on investment exercise
- Perform study of global practices for standardize operational excellence products and tools related to AMI, GIS, workforce management solutions, prepaid metering, ADMS
- Contribute to Technical Process Management stream for business case evaluation and feasibility study
- Identify benefits and prepare realization steps to achieve the benefits of change management strategy for periodic / condition-based PM model
- Review with related technology streams the project scalability and define future implementation roadmap along with relevant stakeholders buy-in
3 Process Governance & Training (30%)
- Develop and contribute to implementation of process governance procedures and strategy to accompany smooth transition from old to new business practices
- Identify cost rationalization opportunities, develop operational continuity framework, data archiving and retention policies for technology products in coordination with IT
- Coordinate with Performance Improvement & Data analytics stream for linking of governance strategy and KPI monitoring to Distribution Nama edition
- Perform need assessment and organize trainings for process improvement initiatives
- Work in collaboration with Technical Process Management stream, for smooth cutover strategies
- Organize workshops with distribution end users for briefing, communication and to develop understanding of policies and practices that have undergone change
4 Data Analysis & Reporting (10%)
- Assist in co-ordination with IT and performance improvement stream for data analysis and reporting of effective utilization of implemented change
- Review KPI and utilization from statistical information
- Ensuring reporting and highlighting project progress and objective to line manager
- Analyze data and bring opportunity areas for change management initiatives
