Purpose:
DM Cybersecurity (Security Engg. IT) shall be responsible of completing a thorough risk assessment, identifying vulnerabilities within a network, and creating firewalls, or configuring systems to enhance existing security features withing IT domain.
This role is responsible for partnering with cross functional teams to develop and implement cloud security related projects and plans. This role shall also analyze the existing KE cloud structures and is responsible for creating new and enhanced security controls IT, Cybersecurity Resilience, remediation planning and execution.
- Security Engineering:
- Assess current technology architecture for vulnerabilities, weaknesses and for possible upgrades or improvement.
- Assist Manager Cybersecurity (Sec Arch & Engg) to develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization's data and systems.
- Configure integration of various cybersecurity systems with multiple information sources.
- Monitor and manage all network traffic and look for anomalies that could indicate potential security threat.
- Security Architecture:
- Assist Manager Cybersecurity (Sec Arch & Engg) to design and implementing cybersecurity solutions that protect against cyber threats such as malware, phishing, and ransomware.
- Ensuring that the organization’s data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.
- Manage Network Detection & Response, DNS Security, and Advance Malware Protection (AMPS).
- Responding to all security breaches to the network and associated systems
- Troubleshooting all network and security issues and incidents.
- Assists Manager Cybersecurity (Sec Arch. & Engg) to develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans in the event of a cybersecurity incident.
- Change Management:
- Be a change agent by recommending best practices for cloud systems.
- Assist with regularly scheduled gap assessments, internal audits, and external audits.
- Drive teams toward implementing controls and processes that address identified gaps.
- Security Assessment:
- Participate in secure architecture reviews covering legacy and new technologies.
- Perform regular risk assessments across cloud systems using industry standard frameworks.
- Follow up with issues related to compliance gaps and work to resolve them.
- Reviewing RFPs, BRDs, TEs and monthly departmental Dashboard
- Education and Experience:
- Minimum 3 Years’ experience in cyber security (At least 1 year of that experience is spent in security engineering and security architecture)
- A bachelor’s degree in related technical field.
- Certifications like CHFI, CC shall be preferred.
